I like the concept, the colours you've used and the design of the robot, love the background you're using, it really adds to it without being distracting.
In terms of both pieces, I really like the sharpness of this one over its counterpart but do prefer the composition of the alternate version (hope that makes any sense?).
this one was the second one made. i didn't mean to make 2 versions but i made the first one too small to be printed. had to scramble and remake it in high resolution all over again... i guess practice helped. i like it better because of the dead flowers.
There is something eerily beautiful about this. Your vision is ingenious. And though it is not relevant to this deviation your transformations are brilliant; from where do you get your inspiration?
i used to do my thing quietly. pretty much in a vaccuum. then i joined DA and was just floored by how good others are. i'm just trying to progress out of my shell. break out of my old easy stand by style. im trying to do something as good as the stuff i see here. the works of limkis [link] and others are often on my mind. how can i make something as colorful? as dense? as exciting?
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
